Penza, 16 October 2015. PenzaNews. The head of the education department in the Penza penal colony No. 4, 35, is facing a criminal case on charges of taking a bribe.

According to information available, the accused accepted 30,000 rubles from a third party representing one of the inmates, Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.
“The money was a bribe for a good description and the documents to move the inmate to a settlement colony. After receiving the bribe, the suspect was detained by the Penza FSB dept,” she explained.
The person in question confessed to the crime, Lyudmila Fomina added.
“We are currently gathering the evidence,” she pointed out.
