Penza, 21 October 2015. PenzaNews. A total of 46 firemen were involved in extinguishing a Svetlaya street apartment building fire in Sputnik City, a standalone suburb on the edge of Penza city, that took place in the afternoon of Wednesday, October 21, says the message on the website of the regional EMERCOM department headquarters.

According to it, roofing and interfloor insulation material on the front side of the building caught fire, and the incident was contained at 15.05.

Based on preliminary data, nobody was injured in the incident.

The total fire zone and the causes of the incident are yet to be established.
