Penza, 23 October 2015. PenzaNews. A traffic accident in the Spassky area of the Penza region that resulted in 5 people injured was caused by a wild boar.

“According to preliminary data, an Opel drove into the boar at 23.30 of Thursday, October 22, at the 486th kilometer of M5 ‘Ural’ federal highway. Subsequently, the car collided with a SsangYong Istana,” the press service of the Penza region traffic police department informed PenzaNews agency.

As a result, five persons in the SsangYong car were injured, they clarified.

“These include the driver born in 1975, and the passengers born in 1985, 1989, 1991 and 1997,” the police explained.

The boar involved in the accident died at the scene, the press service noted.
