Penza, 24 October 2015. PenzaNews. An assistant professor, 35, at the medical institute of the Penza State University is accused of taking a bribe and now faces a criminal case.

“According to investigation, in October 2015 the accused took 4,000 rubles from a student for a positive mark in his study subject without any real evaluation of the latter’s knowledge. After taking the money, he was apprehended by the police,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.

The police are currently gathering the evidence in order to establish the full picture of the crime, she added.
