Penza, 27 October 2015. PenzaNews. The police have initiated a criminal case under Part 2, Art. 143 of the Criminal Code, titled “Violation of Labor Protection Rules,” after the death of a worker, 50, in an accident on a construction site of a Leonova street apartment building in Penza, Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.

“According to investigation, the man fell 12 floors while cleaning construction debris on Sunday, October 25. He died at the scene from sustained injuries,” she called.

The police are currently questioning the witnesses, scheduling forensic tests, requesting relevant documents and taking other measures to establish the full picture of the tragic accident, Lyudmila Fomina explained.
