Penza woman detained for stealing sweets

Penza, 8 November 2015. PenzaNews. A woman from Penza with a former criminal record, 36, was detained on charges of stealing over 1,160 rubles worth of sweets from an open-stalles shop on Klara Tsetkin street.

The culprit was found thanks to shop’s CCTV recordings the press service of the Ministry of the Interior department in the Penza region told PenzaNews agency.

“The suspect was brought to the police office and confessed to the crime. An investigation of the theft is currently underway,” they said.
