13 slot machines seized in illegal gambling parlor

Penza, 24 November 2015. PenzaNews. The police has seized 13 slot machines after a raid on an illegal gambling parlor located on Stroiteley prospekt.
The orchestrators of criminal activities will be facing a case under Point A, Part 2, Art. 171.2 of the Criminal Code, titled “Illegal Organizing and Conducting Games of Chance,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency, told PenzaNews agency.
“According to investigators, three local citizens organized an illegal for-profit gaming parlor with slot machines in an office space on Stroiteley prospekt between September and November 2015. They hired a staff of hall administrators, security and general service to facilitate the work,” she explained.
According to her, the illegal parlor was closed down by the police during a raid.
“They are currently gathering the evidence,” Lyudmila Fomina added.
