Penza, 23 November 2015. PenzaNews. A woman living in Zarechny of the Penza region, 50, was hospitalized with broken ribs and left hand, fractured skull base, and internal injuries after being hit by a snowplow.

The traffic accident occurred on Friday, November 20, by the local swimming pool, when the cleaning vehicle was driving along Zavodskaya street towards Litke street.

According to preliminary investigation, the incident was caused by jaywalking.

She was placed in the Penza city Zakharyin clinical medical emergency hospital.

An administrative investigation is currently underway, “Zarechye Sevodnya” newspaper reports.
