Penza, 22 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza citizen, 19, who had published several radical nationalist and extremist videos in his VK.com social network account was found guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code, “Public Call for Terrorist Activity or Public Justification of Terrorism,” and “Inciting Hatred, Violation of Human Dignity.”

“Based on the experts’ conclusion, the videos conclude content that violates people’s dignity based on their gender, race, nationality, native language and place of origin, as well as justifications of acts of terror aimed at a group of people that do not constitute terrorists,” Lyudmila Fomina, Senior Assistant of the Head of the Investigative Department of the city Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, told PenzaNews agency.

The person in question claimed he wanted to express his opinion to the public, she added.

“The young man was fined 150,000 rubles. The sentenced is yet to enter into force,” Lyudmila Fomina noted.
