Penza, 27 December 2015. PenzaNews. A Penza citizen, 45, fell victim to a fraud after answering to an online driver job ad in the city administration.

He contacted the person who posted the ad, who introduced himself as a city administration official and arranged for an appointment in the city hall building on Marshala Zhukova square, the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

“When the man arrived to the location, the person called him again and asked to transfer a sum of money to two cellphone accounts, promising to return the money when they meet. Following his instructions, the victim transferred away 2,800 rubles using the ATM in the city administration building,” the police explained.

The fraud is under investigation and the law enforcement is establishing the identities of the culprits, they added.
