Penza, 3 January 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza police has begun investigating a case of car parts sale fraud.

“A man, 34, came to the police with a report. He explained that he found an ad published in VK.com social network; when he called the listed phone number, an unidentified person offered him to make a transfer of 6,200 rubles as an advance payment. The buyer transferred the funds to a bank account, but have not received the car parts so far, and the buyer’s phone has been disabled,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The buyer’s phone is registered in a different city, they added.

“At the moment, the police are taking measures to establish the identities of the culprits,” the press service said.
