Teenager, 16, to face trial for buying drugs

Penza, 4 January 2016. PenzaNews. A student in one of the Penza colleges, 16, faces a criminal case for buying illegal drugs.
“A trust hotline received a report that an unconscious young man was lying in the dorm restroom, likely under influence of drugs. The Federal Drug Control Service officers who moved out to the scene found a ziploc bag with amphetamine drugs on the person,” Elena Samorukova, Chief Expert of Information and Public Relations Group of Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation in the region, told PenzaNews agency.
According to her, after coming back to his senses, the teenager did not deny his involvement and confessed he bought the drug from an unknown individual online for personal consumption.
“He will be facing a criminal case under Article 228 of the Criminal Code, ‘Illegal Acquisition, Storage, Transportation, Making or Processing of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances or Analogues Thereof’,” Elena Samorukova clarified.
