Penza, 6 January 2016. PenzaNews. The police have detained a Penza citizen, 33, on charges of stealing a bottle of cognac and a bottle of vermouth, for a total cost of over 1,200 rubles, from the window display of a store on Stroiteley prospekt.

“The culprit was brought to the police station and questioned. The man confessed to the crime. The stolen goods were seized,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The suspect already has a criminal record, they pointed out.

“The theft case is still under investigation,” the police clarified.
