Zarechny, 17 January 2016. PenzaNews. A private security force has detained a citizen of Zarechny in the Penza region, 27, who climbed a crane tower to steal a radio communicator.

“They received a report at nighttime from the watchman of a construction site on Zelenaya street, who reported sighting an unknown person on the crane tower. A police dispatch went out for the location; however, a private security force arrived there first, and it were they who detained the trespasser,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The man in question already has a criminal record, they pointed out.

“The suspect was questioned, and confessed to the crime. An investigation is underway, with a proceeding decision to follow,” the police said.
