Penza, 25 January 2016. PenzaNews. A Penza family paid a fine of 35,000 rubles for their son, born in 1996, who was found guilty by the court of illegal distribution of pornography online.

“In February-July 2014, the teenager willingly and illegally published three pornographic video clips using a falsified account in VK.com social network by copying them from a data drive, making them freely available for everyone to watch and download. With his actions, he allowed any registered user to access illegal information from his webpage,” Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region in Media Relations, told PenzaNews agency.

According to her, as the investigators found that nobody actually watched any of the aforementioned video clips, the court found that the teenager did not complete in achieving his criminal intent due to circumstances not under his control.

“The court concluded by assigning a fine as a punishment for the criminal case. The fine was paid by his parents,” she clarified.
