Penza, 7 February 2016. PenzaNews. The police have opened a criminal case after a conflict in a flat of an apartment building on Austrina street in Penza which resulted in hospitalization to a man, 37, with intraabdominal injuries.

“During the investigation, the police found that the injured person was visiting his friend, a former convict, 27. After a bout of drinking, the latter gave a beating to the former with a steel pipe during a drunken row,” the press service of the Penza region Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews agency.

The suspect was arrested, they noted.

“He confessed to the crime,” the police added.
