Penza, 9 February 2016. PenzaNews. The active members of a criminal gang in Penza involved in drug trade will be potentially facing life in jail.

“It was established that in 2014, a Samara region citizen residing in Tolyatti created an organized criminal gang via the Internet to sell synthetic drugs in Penza, and enticed three Penza residents into it with promises of big earnings,” Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the region in Media Relations, told PenzaNews agency.

In late 2014, the law enforcement put a stop to their wrongdoings and seized over 3 kg of drugs, she added.

“After the accusation criminal case was confirmed by the Penza region prosecutor’s office, the materials of the criminal case were addressed to the regional court for review on the merits,” Yulia Makarova explained.
