Four die in Penza region fires over past four days
Penza, 25 February 2016. PenzaNews. A total of four people have died in fires in the Penza region that occurred on February 21-24.

The tragic incidents were mainly caused by incorrect use of stoves and careless handling of fire.
The bigger of the fires, which took over a wooden residential house, took place in Novaya Studenovka village of the Serdobsk area at night into Tuesday, February 23, and took several firemen squads from the 10th firefighting department along with volunteers to deal with.
The house was ablaze when they arrived. The firefighters began extinguishing the flames immediately; however, the building was completely destroyed in the fire.
The household owner died as a result. A resident of the nearby house, Alexei Krotikov, rushed to the rescue and managed to save four children from the fire.
Overall, seven people were saved from the fires over the past four days.
