Penza, 15 March 2016. PenzaNews. Two men, born in 1989 and 1992, have died in the crash as a Lexus car they were in crashed into a MAN truck in the vicinity of “Salon Byta” bus stop on Stroiteley prospekt in Penza. The tragic incident occurred in the late evening of Monday, March 14.

According to preliminary information, another passenger of the Lexus has been hospitalized with injuries.

As the witnesses of the incident reported to PenzaNews, the car in question was riding towards the city center at a high speed, when allegedly a pedestrian began crossing the road. In an attempt to avoid the hit, the driver of the Lexus swerved away, which caused the crash. As a result, the foreign car was practically flattened into the space under the truck.

The crash completely destroyed the left side of the car and broke its windows, and turned the vehicle into a bundle of broken metal pieces.

The emergency services were immediately dispatched to the accident site.

The EMERCOM services had to saw apart the car to extract the bodies.

The tragic incident is currently under investigation, as the traffic police is establishing the picture of the crash.
