Elderly woman dead after hit by car in Penza

Penza, 29 March 2016. PenzaNews. An elderly woman born in 1953 was killed when she was hit by a Daewoo Matiz with a 24-year-old driver in the evening of Monday, March 28, on 8 Marta street in Penza, the press service of the regional Ministry of the Interior department informed PenzaNews.

The tragic accident occurred at around 19.35 by the “Puteprovod” bus stop, says the website of the regional EMERCOM headquarters.

According to the bystanders, the woman was hit when she was crossing the road at a designated location, while the car in question belongs to a pizza delivery cafe.
