Penza, 7 June 2016. PenzaNews. A little boy born in 2014 died after falling from the window on the 9th floor of an apartment building in Penza.

He was brought to the local hospital in the evening of Monday, June 6, with grave injuries, to which he succumbed shortly after, Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

“Reportedly, the boy’s mother opened the window to air the boy’s room and got distracted for a brief moment. However, that was enough for the boy to climb the windowsill and fall out of the 9th floor window,” she explained.

The full details of the tragic incident are currently under investigation, Lyudmila Fomina clarified.
