15-year-old girl injured in car accident near Penza is in coma

Penza, 29 August 2016. PenzaNews. 15-year-old Maria Savelieva, injured in a collision of vehicles Lada Granta and VAZ-2110 on the road near Penza on Saturday, August 27, is in a coma.

According to the weekly newspaper “Stolitsa C,” after a surgery the girl was placed in the intensive care unit of one of the Penza hospitals.
Ekaterina Savelieva, who was at the steering wheel of Lada Granta and died in the accident, had two minor children. Currently they are with the grandmother of Ekaterina Savelieva — Valentina Bezzubova.
The funeral of Lada Granta driver and her mother Irina Savelieva will take place in Saransk in the near future.
AsPenzaNews reported earlier, according to witnesses, the driver of Lada Grant performed an unsafe maneuver driving on the oncoming lane to overtake a truck, and collided with VAZ-2110. Both cars suffered serious mechanical damage. Lada Granta, which was thrown into a ditch, was completely crushed in the front. Two women were killed on the spot; four people received injuries of varying severity.
