Penza, 7 September 2016. PenzaNews. Seven coal and scrap metal wagons derailed near Penza-III station on Wednesday afternoon, September 7, senior assistant to the head of the Transport Investigative Department of the Volga Federal District Dmitry Zakharov informed PenzaNews.

“According to preliminary data, at around 13.00 seven cars of freight train No. 3216 derailed. Investigative team works at the scene,” the agency interlocutor commented.

He added that at present the complex of verification measures is taken, aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
