“A 41-year-old man fell from his apartment located on the 5 th floor on Karpinskogo Street, and the other man — an 80-year-old pensioner — fell from the window of the 4 th floor of the house on Suvorova Street. Both men received severe injuries and died on the spot,” Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews.

She clarified that, according to preliminary data, the first case was connected with alcoholic intoxication, and the second — with the victim's mental illness.

“Both facts are under investigation in Leninsky district of Penza. According to the results, procedural decision will be accepted,” the agency interlocutor summed up.
