Penza, 28 September 2016. PenzaNews. Investigators started checking into the discovery of the body of a 48-year-old male with a gunshot wound in the head in the pavilion in a private home ownership in Penza.

As Lyudmila Fomina, senior assistant of the head of the regional Investigative Committee for media relations, told PenzaNews, a corpse was found at the place of residence on Monday afternoon, September 26.

“According to the preliminary version, the deceased shot himself in the head with a registered “Benelli” hunting rifle. As a result of his injuries the man died at the scene,” the agency interlocutor said.

She added that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
