Such opinion was expressed by the head of the regional Ministry of Labour Evgeni Troshin during the discussion of the case in which managers force sick employees to work.

"I think that it is necessary to raise the question of the commonplace legal culture when it comes to this issue. People must understand that workers are not the source of profit and money making. They are the working horse that leads the employer to the bright future and helps him realize their ambitions, and plans," he said at the round-table discussion "Residents' health maintenance", which was held in the Penza region Legislative Assembly on Friday, January 13.

At the same time, the minister noted that there are some honest employers who take care of their workers' health.

"They provide subscription to fitness centres, swimming pools and to everything that is connected with it," he said.
