Penza, 23 January 2017. PenzaNews. The driver, born 1986, and the passenger, born 1957, who were inside of the Chevrolet Tahoe car with the number plate issued in Moscow, died in the traffic accident that occurred at the 643rd km of the federal highway M5 “Ural” in Penza on Monday, January 23.

As it was reported by the witness, there were seven or eight people inside the car. Two of them died at the scene of the accident, the others were hospitalized to Zakharyin Penza clinical hospital No. 6.

The degree of the received injures is being specified. According to the preliminary data, a young female passenger received cerebral injury.

Presumably, at 11.30 the Chevrolet Tahoe car, which was going from the side of the Chemodanovka village, passed the State Traffic Police post. The excavator was driving towards the car from the side of Penza and at some moment it started turning to the left. At the same time, the driver did not make sure that the manoeuvre was safe and as a result, the roof of the off-road car was cut off by the scoop.

The State Police officers will have to investigate all circumstances of the accident.
