Penza, 1 February 2017. PenzaNews. Almost 30 people of manpower and eight units of machinery were involved in fire extinguishing in the building in Revolyutsionnaya street in Penza, where a service centre and the centre of additional education "Milory" are located.

According to the preliminary data, the area of fire amounted to 200 square metres.

Judging by the photos taken at the scene of the incident, the main work of the firefighters was held on the second floor, which was inflamed.

It was necessary for the rescuers to choose the correct direction of fire extinguishing in order to prevent spread of the fire to the neighbouring buildings.

Police officers watched near the building so that strangers do not hinder the work of the rescuers.

The journalists who wanted to capture the process of fire extinguishing arrived to the scene of the incident.

The thick smoke, which raised over the building located in the centre of Penza, could be seen from far away. That is why a lot of residents got to know about the fire, in which, according to preliminary data, no-one was injured.
