Fact of hospitalizing schoolgirls after party in sauna in Penza becomes known

Penza, 10 February 2017. PenzaNews. The head of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs department, major general Yuri Ruzlyaev reported on flagrant cases of children poisoning with alcohol and drugs, one of which happened to schoolgirls who had a celebration in a sauna.

"Last year, two girls who studied in schools No. 64 and 68 were hospitalized with an alcoholic coma after celebration of New Year in a sauna in Prospekt Stroiteley street," he said giving a report on the operational situation and the results of the work of regional offices of internal affairs bodies at the 41th regular session of the regional Legislative Assembly on Friday, February 10.
According to Yuri Ruzlyaev, in January, four 13-year-old teenagers drank alcohol together and went to school No. 69 to classes, where they were stopped by a security guard.
"Later two of them were sent to hospital with alcoholic poisoning," the major general explained.
He added that in 2016 six pupils from schools No. 56 and 26 and from centre of education No. 1 in Penza were hospitalized with symptoms of drug poisoning.
