Penza, 10 March 2017. PenzaNews. Two women – a driver and a pedestrian – were injured as a result of a traffic accident involving a Lada Kalina car, which happened in Bessonovsky area of the Penza region.

"According to preliminary data, on Friday, March 10, at about 8.10, on the 9th kilometre of the road 'Penza-Lunino', the driver of the car VAZ-11183 – a woman born 1998 – ran down a pedestrian – a girl born 1998 – let the car get into a ditch and collided with an obstacle," the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews.

The state traffic police noted that the severity of the received injures is being established.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
