Penza, 22 March 2017. PenzaNews. Trolleybus No. 2 that was going from the city centre to Krivozerye street in Penza, was moving on the green traffic signal while a car transporting a crane was turning from Okruzhnaya to Kalinina street.

As it was reported from the scene of the accident by a PenzaNews journalist, the oversized cargo was accompanied by two cars with one of them being a car of the traffic police.

According to the trolleybus driver, who never had accidents during 14 years of work, he thought that he had enough time to cross the street on the green light, but he did not manage to avoid the collision.

There were only a few passengers inside the trolleybus at that moment – 5 or 6 people. According to preliminary data, they escaped with slight shock without being seriously injured.

Officers of the state traffic police who will have to establish all circumstances continue working at the scene of the accident.
