Penza, 7 May 2017. PenzaNews. Traffic police officers started investigation on the fact of collision of a MAN truck and a Nissan Juke car on the highway "Tambov-Penza" in the Belinsky area, as a result of which the driver of the crossover died, the woman and the baby, who were in the cabin, were hospitalized.

As the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews, the tragic accident happened on Saturday, May 6.

"The driver of the Nissan Juke car, a man born 1982, died at the scene of the accident from received injures. Two passengers – a woman, born 1987, and a girl, born 2016 – were injured," the department specified.

The propaganda department added that doctors who arrived to the scene of the accident examined the driver of the large-tonnage truck. Hospitalization was not required.

The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
