Penza, 5 December 2017. PenzaNews. A traffic accident involving trolleybus No. 7 as well as cars Nissan and Toyota occurred at the intersection of Kalinina and Sverdlova streets in Penza.

As it was reported by a PenzaNews correspondent from the scene of the accident, after collision with the trolleybus Nissan ran into a fence near the patriotic square damaging the lower part of one section.

All vehicles are believed to have driven in different directions: the Nissan car was driving along Kalinina street towards the centre of Penza, the trolleybus was going in the Nissan's direction and turning left towards Ternovka, and the Toyota car was driving along Sverdlova street towards Bogdanova street.

As a result of the accident, a large traffic jam occurred near the intersection.

In addition, the traffic movement is hindered by traffic lights that have not worked since December 4.

Measures are being taken to re-establish traffic of trolleybuses. Police officers are working at the scene of the accident.
