Penza, 11 January 2018. PenzaNews. The death of the girl born 2003 who suddenly felt unwell when preparing to a holiday in a rural school of the Penza region and soon died occurred as a result of a sudden impaired cardiac function. This was reported by the acting senior assistant of the head of the regional investigative department for media relations under the Investigative Committee of Russia Natalia Fomina.

She explained that the tragic incident occurred on the eve of the New Year’s Day, on 28 December, after which a forensic examination was appointed to determine the exact cause of death.

"According to preliminary information, a rehearsal for celebrating the New Year's Day was held in the school of the Kirillovo village of the Zametchinsky area. During demonstration of an act, one of the participants suddenly fell on the stage. The girl died in the car on the way to the hospital," the interlocutor commented on the circumstances of the incident.

Natalia Fomina added that the investigation appointed in connection with the death of the school pupil is still in progress.

"According to the results, a procedural decision will be made," she said.
