Penza, 16 January 2018. PenzaNews. A foreign-made car rammed through a metal fence near the perinatal centre in Penza from the side of Lermontova street.

The vehicle received serious mechanical damage – the car's hood and bumper were deformed, a tyre went flat.

Commenting on the circumstances of the accident on the air of the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company Penza the driver of the car Dmitry Zhukov reported that he had tried to avoid the collision with another car.

"Driving down Lermontova street the driver of a blue Daewoo Nexia performed a turning manoeuvre, blocked the road in front of me and I did not have time to break. To prevent the accident without driving into him I turned, lost control over the car and rammed into the fence," the man said.

The man who was behind the wheel of the other car disappeared from the scene.

Circumstances of the accident are to be clarified by the traffic police.
