Teenager dies in Zarechny trying to photograph storm

Zarechny, 9 July 2018. PenzaNews. A 17-year-old boy who tried to photograph storm by his telephone camera died as a result of fall from height in Zarechny of the Penza region on Sunday, July 8. This was reported by head of the regional ministry of education Alexander Voronkov in his address to young people published on the department's website.

"Be careful, do not commit actions that may lead to terrible consequences – injury or death. Do not take selfies in extreme conditions, do not commit train hopping, do not try to gain access to construction sites, to say nothing of playing there, do not swim in unequipped places," he noted.
The minister also urged parents to explain children how serious the consequences of these actions can be.
"Be vigilant in matters of your children's safety, organize positive and safe leisure time for them, control their pastime. Do not remain indifferent if you see that the child needs help," the press service of the regional ministry of education quotes Alexander Voronkov.
As it was reported by the newspaper Zarechye Segodnya with reference to the management of the civil defence department of the closed administrative-territorial unit, the tragedy occurred on July 8, at around 15.00. The young man fell at the canopy of an entrance from the seventh floor of a building in Lenina street, where he lived.
An ambulance took him to the resuscitation department of the Penza Regional Children Clinical Hospital named after N.F. Filatov. The teenager was diagnosed with closed craniocerebral injury and a shank fracture. In the evening the young man died.
Law enforcement authorities are investigating the fact.
