"The teenagers met on September 14. They had a verbal conflict over a girl, which resulted in a one-on-one fight. Then, others joined and it ended in several people beating one," the interlocutor explained.
She added that the young man had returned home after the fight, had a sleep, and next morning headed to college where he felt unwell.
"He came home. An ambulance was called but there was no chance for it to help as the boy had died," the ombudsman for children's rights said.
Elena Stolyarova specified that the adolescents that beat their peer were aged 15 and 16 years and studied at school No. 12 and Penza Agricultural and Industrial College.
"This is an unacceptable cruelty," the interlocutor said.
