Airbags went off because of the blow and saved the driver from serious injuries. However, he needed medical assistance – the team of doctors that arrived at the scene took the man to hospital.

A truck that collided with a Mazda car almost completely blocked the roadway, which made it difficult to drive on the relief road.

When consequences of the accident were being eliminated, drivers of other vehicles made an alternative way along the territory of a parking lot. When driving that way, the vehicles could go only in one direction as the parking lot had not been cleared of snow. There was congestion at its entrance and exit.

The circumstances of the collision of three vehicles on the relief road are being investigated.
