Penza, 5 February 2019. PenzaNews. Fire in automobile sales centre Klakson in Avtonomnaya Street in Penza, with about 30 vehicles in it according to preliminary data, was extinguished. This was reported by the press service of the main EMERCOM department in the Penza region.

The department specified that nobody had been injured as a result of the incident.

“54 people and 17 units of machinery of EMERCOM were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the fire,” the press service added.

The department explained that the fire water monitor allowing directing a jet of a fire extinguishing agent at the zone where ignition occurred under a big pressure had been used, and firefighters had had to work in the conditions of strong smoke.

At the moment pouring of the premises and demolition of structures continues.

After elimination of the fire, investigators of EMERCOM received access inside the hangar. They are to find out the causes of the incident and to establish the damage caused by the fire.

In addition, police officers and JSC Penza Gorelektroset are involved in work on the site of the emergency.
