The incident occurred on Monday, March 11.

According to PenzaNews journalist reporting from the scene, metal visors over the three entrances of the building were also damaged. They are currently being dismantled.

According to representatives of the management company Lev, the works were organized due to the fact that these structures were dangerous. However, the staff of the organization refused to explain what exactly had led to such consequences.

Currently, large pieces of ice can be observed around the perimeter. One of them damaged the manhole cover when falling, which could not withstand the impact.

According to available information, some time ago work was carried out to clean the roof of the house from ice.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

In accordance with the state information system of the housing and utilities sector, building No. 29 in Stavskogo Street in Penza had was built in 1966. According to assessments, it is in a good condition and the wear is 35%.
