Penza, 15 September 2019. PenzaNews. Employees of the State Traffic Police investigate the circumstances of the collision of a Toyota Alphard minivan with an elk in the Maloserdobinsky area of Penza region, which resulted in eight people being injured.

"It is tentatively established that on September 13 at 22.00 at 504 km of the highway Nizhny Novgorod – Saratov the driver of the Toyota Alphard – a man born in 1994 – knocked down the animal, after which the minivan got in a ditch with subsequent overturning," the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews.

The State Traffic Police specified that the driver and seven passengers – six men and a woman – had received injuries of varying severity and had been hospitalized.

Investigation on the fact of the traffic accident was organized.
