Penza, 11 November 2019. PenzaNews. Employees of the State Traffic Police are investigating the circumstances of an accident at 219th km of the Tambov-Penza highway, which resulted in the death of a pedestrian.

"It is tentatively established that on Sunday, November 10, at 18.30 in Kamensky area, the driver of an unidentified car knocked down a pedestrian born in 1964. As a result of the accident, the man died at the site of the accident," the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told PenzaNews.

The department added that investigation on the fact had been organized.

"Police officers are taking steps to identify the driver and arrest them," the propaganda department said.
