Bus drivers commit about 7,000 violations since beginning of year

Penza, 16 December 2019. PenzaNews. Police officers have recorded 6,868 administrative violations committed by bus drivers in Penza region since the beginning of 2019. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"13 buses with defective steering and braking system have been identified," the agency added.
The police explained that as a result of consideration of 362 cases of administrative offences, which consisted in letting vehicles with malfunctions operate routes, 302 officials were brought to justice.
"716 administrative materials were prepared against the officials of car companies and 168 materials were drawn up against legal entities," the Department of Internal Affairs noted.
