Old woman dies in fire in Lunino

Penza, 31 December 2019. PenzaNews. A pensioner born in 1935 was killed in a fire in a 70 square meter log house on Stepana Razina Street in the workers' village of Lunino, Penza region, early Tuesday morning, December 31. This was reported by the press service of the main regional EMERCOM department.

"The incident signal came in at 4:51. Fifteen personnel and five pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing," the agency said.

The press service specified that as a result of the fire the inner part of the house had burned down completely and the roof had been destroyed.

The cause and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
