Penza, 4 January 2020. PenzaNews. A Kia Rio car driving on the Bekovo – Varvarino – Tamala road in Bekovsky area of Penza region got into a ditch and crashed into a tree on the night of Saturday, January 4. This was reported by the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"The driver was injured and then hospitalized," the State Traffic Inspectorate explained.

The institution added that investigation on the fact of the accident had been initiated.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
