More than 90 people die in car accidents in Penza region in seven months

Penza, 11 August 2020. PenzaNews. Traffic accidents that occurred on the roads of Penza region in January-July 2020 claimed the lives of 91 people. This is evidenced by data posted on the website of the State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety.

This is evidenced by data posted on the website of the State Traffic Police Inspectorate.

The number of accidents decreased in the region by 10.8% – from 969 in the seven months of 2019 to 864 in January-July 2020; the number of victims by 10.2% – from 1 330 to 1 194.

In July 2020, there were 179 accidents in Penza region, as a result of which 25 people died and 240 more received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
