Penza, 13 December 2020. PenzaNews. 194 people died as a result of road accidents that occurred in Penza region in January-November 2020, which is 4.3% more than in the same period in 2019, when the accidents claimed lives of 186 citizens. This is evidenced by data posted on the website of the State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety.

The number of victims decreased by 13.9% - from 2 320 over 11 months of 2019 to 1 998 in January-November 2020.

The number of accidents registered in the region fell by 11.2%. In the first 11 months of last year, there were 1 683 incidents, whereas for the same period of the current year there were 1 494 ones.

In November 2020, there were 129 accidents in Penza region, as a result of which 34 people died and 153 more received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

A year ago, there were 138 accidents registered in November, as a result of which 18 people died and 206 were injured.
