“The decision was made in accordance with the recommendations of the regional department of the Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being,” the text notes.

It explains that every year a large number of people gather near water bodies on Epiphany night, and with such a crowd of citizens, it is impossible to comply with the requirements aimed at preventing the spread of the disease.

The report adds that despite this decision, measures will be taken to ensure the safety of citizens in possible bathing areas.
