Penza, 24 November 2021. PenzaNews. The fire that broke out in a warehouse in Sverdlova Street in Penza the night before was extinguished.

The accident was reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 21:56 last Tuesday, November 23; at 23:59 the fire was contained to an area of 1 000 square metres.

Anna Shupilova, head of the press service of the Russian EMERCOM in Penza region, told journalists that the open fire had been extinguished at 5:05.

“The structures are currently being poured and dismantled,” she said.

Causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
