The majority of connections took place in Arbekovskaya Zastava and GPZ-24 residential areas, as well as on Chapaeva, Klary Tsetkin and Ladozhskaya streets.
The FTTB (Fiber To The Building) fiber optic network system allows to provide a full range of services – digital telephony, “Interactive TV” with a large selection of options such as “Watch Control,” “Video Rental,” “Multiscreen” and “Parent Control,” as well as high-bandwidth Internet access – using a single cable.
“We see good connection dynamic in the newly-built houses. There is a particularly high demand for PLC-adapters that allow to use ‘Interactive TV’ on several screens at once through wireless connection. Many people who resided in the new apartment buildings already praise the ease of use in their flats. No new wiring needed – you only need to buy it, plug it in and get access to the full range of ‘Interactive TV’ and various additional options,” Lev Dyatlov, director for the Penza branch of Rostelecom, commented on the news.
Currently, over 50,000 households in the Penza region are using the fiber optic services provided by the company, its press office informed PenzaNews agency.
“New and current customers can enjoy a limited-time offer – the ‘Forever Package,’ particularly profitable for those who use landline phones. For them, the minimum payment for ‘Home Internet’ and ‘Interactive TV’ will be 450 rubles per month, and the fees will not change. The offer is available until 29 February 2016,” the Rostelecom representatives explained.
